What counts as a certificate?
Each certificate you issue (from the dashboard, the Outlook add-in, the Gmail add-on, or the API) counts once. Drafts you don't issue never count. Starter includes 25 issued certificates a month; Team includes 300 per seat each month, and if a busy month runs over, it's flexible: you can pay as you go for the extras. Enterprise volume is custom.
Can I start free and upgrade later?
Yes, that's the intended path. Start on Starter, issue real certificates, and when the desk needs more volume or seats, upgrade to Team. Your clients, policies, certificates, and Verification Reports all carry over; nothing is re-imported.
How do seats work?
A seat is one person who signs in and issues. Starter is a single seat. Team is priced per seat per month and scales to 100 seats; add or remove them as your desk changes. Team includes the REST API, webhooks, knowledge-base agents, client assignments, and the AMS & data connectors, so most agencies never outgrow it. Beyond 100 seats, or for SSO and custom role structures, that's an Enterprise conversation.
Do I pay by card or by invoice?
Starter is free and Team is billed to a card, so you can sign up and start issuing the same day. Enterprise is billed by invoice, with SSO, API access, and connectors set up alongside your procurement process.
Is verification extra?
Never. FormLock verification, the Verification Report, and human review routing run on every certificate on every plan, including the free one. Coily doesn't sell correctness as an upgrade.
